You live in the Faroes, now that really is interesting But so frustrating for you, being miles away from any gigs. At least with the internet you can get Youtube and streams and stuff - I don't know how we got on without it in my youth.

Yeah, I guess youtube's alright, but it's just... not the same. And the streams are always shoddy and lagging.

Well, who knows. We'll work on getting the word on fiN spread and who knows what silly places they'll end up in to play live!
Maybe you can invite them to stay over at your place.
And Jill: I heard tales of children going outside and actually playing with each other in real life! *gasp*

Meh, we wouldn't have gone out playing if we'd had Youtube.....

I know I wouldn't! I always preferred watching TV to playing outside *shivers*

Look what the cat dragged in again… *wipes-cat-saliva-off-sleeve* And Jill: I heard tales of children going outside and actually playing with each other in real life! *gasp* And I heard stories about books, too! They didn't even have an on-switch. How could people operate them? And photos on paper!

I study Chinese and am on my final year at the university. I guess it's all. cheers!

hi everybody, in the beginning, there were forums. now, there is facebook and twitter to get in touch with other fans. anyway, i'm here and i suppose we will be more and more in the near future after the release of the first album of fiN. i live in belgium and i always loved music. My passion is to go to concerts and i'm very lucky cause i'm married with a wife who has the same music taste. on saturday 16 march 2013, i saw a tweet from fiNUK on the twitter account of chris wolstenholme. and i discovered that fiNUK was a band about to release their first album. Since saturday, i nearly sent 100 tweets to fiNUK. i listened everyday their music constantly this week. the 1 st song i heard was the artisan, and it was love at first listening (lol) i have watched all their videos on youtube and damn, there are no songs i don't like. eve really smashed my face. they are all great, punchy, fresh. I'm a fan. I really hope to see them live very soon in my area. Cheers

Hi to Alisa and zooboy, it's brilliant to have you on board It's been a bit quiet round here but I do believe there's a new album coming soon, hurray! As for concerts, we might be lucky and see fiN near where we live in small venues, before they become mega-famous and only play big stadiums. Here's hoping....

what i find very cool is that they reply to all tweets. i guess it won't be the same when they will be famous and receive 3000 tweets in a day.
;D
nearly 2 days before the release.
can't wait !

I thought I'd finally join up here. I've been a fan of the lads since 2004 when they were in previous bands & I'm so glad to see they've finally found their sound & seem to be progressing very well with it all. It's nice to see they've finally released an album as well which is an incredible collection of songs.
I'm not usually a fan of indie-esque rock but fiN are certainly different.

Welcome! You must definitely be the longest-serving fan, we're not worthy (but fiN are, obviously) Hopefully we'll see more of the lads now the new album's out

Welcome Snowflake! I love Russia, been to St. Petersburg once and my brother even found the love of his life there. Studying Chinese must be so hard, good luck in your final year! Welcome to Zooboy too! Leef je in Wallonië of Vlaanderen? Lots of people from Belgium are into good rock music. So many good bands have started out there. Hope you can help spread fiN to them! I love Eve too, it's one of the most surprising songs on the album, really grew on me. Have you seen the "behind-the-scenes" where they record the violins used? It's gorgeous! I'm hoping for a tour soon, too! Welcome too, Martin! It's really nice to see some old-school fans in here. I think it was you who I contacted for old footage of the guys, right? Thanks again for that! And yup, the album is out, really hope more and more people will discover fiN's music and get on board (both literally and figuratively speaking ^.^) I haven't been around much but in the coming weeks I'll be posting more things again! xx

thank you, Unomusette and Xaverri to Xaverri: I'm glad that you love Russia! in fact, I remember we talked about Muse gigs in Russia in 2011 on LJ and welcome to Zooboy and Martin, though in Martin's case it seems he should welcome us lol.
